Of course with celebration comes the acknowledgment of loss. Many great family members and friends were lost in between these records. The weight of the loss of our brother Danny cannot be measured with current technology. Technical advice on the album, jokes and general care about all of us cannot be summed up in a mere paragraph. What I admire about him the most was how much he would throw himself into whatever it was that he was doing. First I watched with music, and how he really dedicated himself to the craft. Next was high school women’s basketball. God help you if you didn’t have the hours he required to speak on that . And finally in the last chapter he began his journey as a stand up comic. I miss my dedicated friend , his abilities to recall the smallest details of stories. I love you brother. We dedicate this to you and your indomitable spirit.

It feels like a lifetime since this record began.
So much has shifted in the world, and in me.
First, Danny Michael. A friend, a mentor, a steady hand behind the rhythm. I was always a guitarist who found himself at a drum kit, but Danny helped me believe I belonged there. He gave me confidence. He helped me find my sound. More than that, he showed up, every time, no matter what. We carry the weight of his absence, but I carry the honor of having shared those years with him. This performance is for Danny. Every drum, every cymbal, echoes that time we built together.
Kurt, Stephen, Herman, we saw it through. It is finally here.
The past few years have changed me. To everyone who reached out, who stayed, who cared, you held me up when I could not stand on my own. There are no words big enough for that, but I hope you know what you mean to me.
Matty D, for the porch, the conversations, laughs and the quiet moments in between.
To my people in GBW, every time we came together, life felt lighter. You reminded me who I was, again and again. Here is to many more years of that.
To my teammates in VA, distance does not change what all of you mean to me. You are still home.
